The code takes the format of X.ABB-DC 00

X is a new prefix to the codes and denotes the overall age/original release window of the product. As follows:
    • 1 - Train Sim World/Train Sim World 2020 Release
    • 2 - Train Sim World 2 Release
    • 3 - Train Sim World 3 Release
A is the region in which the route, loco or train is based. We've covered:
    • C - Switzerland
    • D - Germany
    • F - France
    • G - Great Britain
    • N - North America
    • X - Global
BB are the traction types employed. Frequently there will only be one traction type in use, in which case we repeat the letter, however this allows for multiple traction variants:
    • A - Steam (both low and high pressure)
    • B - Electric AC
    • C - Electric DC (including Battery)
    • D - Diesel Electric
    • E - Electro-Diesel
    • F - Diesel Mechanical
    • G - Diesel Hydraulic (both Hydrostatic and Hydrokinetic)
    • H - Diesel Steam
    • J - Diesel Pneumatic
    • K - Electric Multi-Current
    • L - Gas Turbine-Electric
    • M - Maglev
    • N - Atomic-Electric (including nuclear fission or fusion based)
    • P - Jet Turbine-Electric (including Turbojet Turbine)
    • Q - Fuel-Cell-Electric (Hydro-Electrolysis)
    • R - Hydrogen-Electric (Hydro-Combustion)
    • S - Hybrid-Electric
    • T - For odd types such as Petrol and Kerosene
C is quite straight forward - what type of add-on are we referring to:
    • L - Loco
    • R - Route
    • E - Enhancement/Expansion Package
    • W - Wagon/Coach
D is the year the in which the add-on is set (not the years the route/loco was/is active, the specific year we used to set the release in):
    • 1 - 1825 to 1860
    • 2 - 1861 to 1885
    • 3 - 1886 to 1910
    • 4 - 1911 to 1950
    • 5 - 1951 to 1990
    • 6 -1991 to 2010
    • 7 - 2011
What do you think the new routes and locomotive are going to be? Share your thoughts below.

It would not surprise me if Rivet produced Plymouth to St. Austell.

DTG will probably be doing a route out of Birmingham.

Just Trains maybe be concentrating on one of their popular WML or MML routes.

What ever the outcome it will be an exciting 2023 for TSW3.

Personally I’d like to see the SVR Heritage Line
Crewe to Manchester via Stockport or Styal.
Birmingham Cross Rail to Banbury or afar!
Exeter to St. Austell to link up with the WCL.
    Southampton-Brighton linking East Coastway.

You can read the full roadmap here, be careful it will take a mighty long time to read and digest it all!!!

I hope that if they do release WCML, there will be a Bakerloo layer (including gen 8 if feasible, pretty please).

The new US loco might be a Siemens ALC-42 since they are supposed to be an electric/battery version soon.

I hope that US loco will be Acela Express or other NEC express. NEC: BP has some unused potential...

If it is the acela it will be for Boston Sprinter which isn't long enough to "stretch it legs"
