1. Free roam is there a shoes down button to draw power from 3rd rail routes. 2. Can you couple to a 395 Javelin or some of the German trains like the Ice trains or the red DB Trains as they have similar coupling.
1. I believe the Azuma does not have 3rd rail support, only OHL 2. Javelin probably, I think they use the same coupler type, but not german trains
No you can’t lower the 3rd rail shoes as it’s only equipped with a pantograph to draw 25Kv from the catenary. It’s fitted with a small diesel engine for depot shunting movement. I tried coupling a 395 with a 801 and it failed, the 395 has a Scharfenberg coupler and the 801 a Dellner coupler, even though in real life it can be coupled mechanically.
