a bit of blackmail, right? DTG will for sure not do that. Better you learned to wait and be a little patient
Sadly I think Spain will win 3:1 and there is more chance of TSW5 releasing with a BR Classic Blue or surprise Return To Steam with Somerset and Dorset, Brocken Mountain and a NYC steam line in the Adirondacks, than England winning tonight.
no, he made a fun statement which may or may not actually be a good idea, but of course ya gotta wrongfully accuse him for blackmailing... it seems like YOU are asking for attention...
Better you read my post again my friend! And Spain is a fair winner UK was again very slow and nothing against Spain
Perhaps before you dig into others for not being observant you should take your own advice. It was not the UK in the final against Spain, it was England. The N. Irish and Welsh weren't at the tournament (Welsh only just losing out in the qualifiers), the Scottish went early on in the tournament and it were the English who were in the final. Also, you're last comment is not exactly correct, as, perhaps apart from the Holland (Ok Netherlands-its what I were taught at school!), game, it was the most attacking play I have seen all tournament and a very close match.
Yes, that is solely because I were taught it were called Holland from a young age, I have corrected myself though now.
[EDIT - Jan - Rude] Let me you teach the right one... Holland is meaning the 2 western parts Noord-Holland and Zuid-Holland... The country it self called The Netherlands. Its a mistake thats made by many people include a lot of Dutch people it self. Nobody cares [EDIT - Jan - Language] about it.... Besides England played 1 match good the rest was not best...
I am perfectly well educated, so you think wrong, just things were less standardised when I last had a Geography class and I am well aware of the actual history, but as the old saying goes old habits die hard. that is one of those old habits which just doesn't seem to shift. England as a team of players played perfectly well and showed their talent, it were Holland and Southgate who have had the poor performances. As for the actual topic there is no way they would have done it anyway, and the way things are the minute it would likely be another Scottish DLC or dull as dishwater commuter EMU anyway.
Perfectly fine if you are happy with the way how England was active on the field but i have seen something different.
I never said I were happy with how England played, I said I were happy with the players, it is the two musketeers on the side line restricting those on the pitch who are to blame and I am least satisfied with.
I’ve never been into football and find the fanatics way way over the top with it, though I watched tonight’s match (minus 20 minutes at the start) and because of that I enjoy cheering for the opponent of England as I know the fanatics won’t get their excuse to go over the top, it’s also probably related to how it was a few years back when I was in school and the football crazies used to have bad attitude and play it like their continuation depended on it. so yea it was good night thank you Espana. second place has got to be the most crushing way to go out. Edit: grammar
tl:dr DTG now have to push on and make a Spanish route! Actually that little tramway/inter urban on Majorca would be quite nice, Soller I think it’s called.
My goodness, international soccer has become excruciatingly boring. Teams are so deathly afraid of losing, losing possession even. Endless passing backwards, very few goals, very few shots or chances even. Watching the final was worse than watching paint dry. I don't think either team deserved to win the tournament. The trophy should have gone to the team that had the most shots on goal during the whole competition.
Even as the English Spain backer on this match, I say never say never, it was quite close to being a draw and resulting in penalties of which can be pretty cruel and quite easily give the weaker player of the match a quick win. the 86 minute goal really was the finisher.
