These are just some ideas I would like to see implemented in the new Free Roam mode. Images of the rolling stock when selecting something to spawn With hundreds of wagons, coaches and locos in the game it can be difficult to know which is which just from a text description, for example I didn't know what Sggrms was or what exact type of tank car was suitable for UK trains until I've already spawned it in, this would be a nice QOL change. Off the Rails mode This is one I know a lot of people will want but it would really open up the mode a lot more if this was enabled so you could drive an AC train on a Diesel route for example.
Great suggestion with the images of the rolling stock. But I don't really see any point in having a train with AC running on a diesel line, as it just doesn't make much sense at all, And also it wouldn't work at all as it'll need some kind of power anyway.
Well it's definitely possible because Scenario Planner has had the feature since TSW 2 and it's quite handy, it's just something for fun really so I think it should be added to Free Roam as well. A lot of people want to drive the 801 on GWE but can't drive it in free roam
