    First of all, I can't find an existing topic. Either I'm stupid, or the search is failing.
    What's the point of this topic? Have you ever downloaded mayded by someone Engine.ini files? Just agree, there's a lot of unnecessary stuff in them. Sometimes you like some of the changes, but you don't want to see the rest. Sometimes you get a big drop in performance. Sometimes visual glitches.
    Let's share a few lines that we think are worthy of inclusion in any Engine.ini. Let's help those who don't want or can't download bloated pre-made files make their game a little more enjoyable.

    File location c:\Users\YourName\Documents\MyGames\TrainSimWorld6\Saved\Config\WindowsNoEditor\

    Non of those will impact performance.

    r.ToneMapper.Sharpen=0.25 - This will add sharpness to the game. This is especially useful at low resolutions. I don't recommend setting this value higher than 0.5, otherwise you'll get extreme oversharpness.

    r.DefaultFeature.LensFlare=1
    r.LensFlareQuality=3
    - Both lines are needed. This will add a lens flare effect from the light sources. It will look great, but... In some places (for example, tunnels with lamps), the effect will be hideous.

    TimeOfDaySystem.LowerHemisphereSunLightIlluminanceMult=0 - This will remove the pale haze in the distance. Distant objects will appear much more realistic and their colors will not fade. Doesn't work in cloudy weather.

    TimeOfDaySystem.AutoExposure.ExposureBias=-0.15 - This will make the game slightly darker and reduce the effect of light reflections on surfaces. On the plus side, the colors will become slightly more saturated. On the downside, the shadows will become darker. And if you continue to lower the value, the shadows will turn into black holes.

    TimeOfDaySystem.AutoExposure.SpeedUp=10 - This will speed up the eye adaptation. For those who find eye adaptation too slow.

    ts2.dbg.JourneyChapterLockOverride=1 - This will simply unlock all the cahpters in journey mode.

    ts2.save.CheckpointsEnabled=0 - !!!ONLY IF YOU DON'T USE THE AUTOSAVE FUNCTION!!! - This is for those who notice that despite disabling autosave, the game freezes for half a second after completing each instruction. This fix eliminates these freezes.

    Huge thanks for posting all that.

    are there any details of the max ranges for this?
    TimeOfDaySystem.AutoExposure.ExposureBias=-0.15

    Is there anything in the .ini that can disable the hideous "light diffusion" effect that makes shadows disappear when the sky is anything other than clear?

    I tried, but either with no luck, or the result will destroy the clear weather.
    This game needs like 3 different ini configs:
    1. For clear weather(clouds < 50%)
    2. For cloudy/rainy weather(clouds > 50%)
    3. For nighttime.
    The problem is that you can only use one at a time.
