Firstly, I've really been enjoying the game so far. I've already been having a lot of fun with the Bakerlooo line- it's fantastic that I get to drive trains on my favourite Underground line. My main concern so far is the performance of the German ICE route (not even gonna attempt to spell it correctly). I'm playing on a standard PS4 (technically a slim model, but I doubt that makes a difference), and the framerate and general performance seems noticeably worse than other routes. Some people also seem to have problems with the textures on the route--I've only played through the tutorials on the route so far so I can't say I've run into these issues, although I hope they get solved soon. Something a little more minor--the lack of any menu music bothers me more than is reasonable. I was quite fond of the tune from the previous game, and having the menu be completely silent makes the game feel a bit soulless. Hopefully an option is introduced soon to have something playing. Finally-and I'm aware this is EXTREMELY nit picky- there's no Union Jack next to the East Coastway route on the route select screen. I love the little flags next to each route- but if the preserved collection routes will all be flag- less I may be forced to uninstall the game. (slight exaggeration, although it will make me a little sad every time I boot up the game). Other than that- really enjoying the game! I'm looking forward to what the future has in store (already super excited for the London--Faversham route).
One other thing I just discovered- there seems to be no way to drive Class 377s on the East Coastway route with AWS and DSD enabled. I'm assuming this is some kind of oversight or perhaps a bug? I'd appreciate it if this was fixed ASAP as it kind of ruins the immersion for me.
