Cdtr - "Good morning. Are you ready for a heavy haul?"
Me - "Sure am!"
Cdtr - "Good we are running Extra 504 to the MoW yard hauling ballast for the upgrades next week. Should be a decent day if nothing goes wrong. Bring lunch?"
Me - "I did, and 10-4 on that!"


Cdtr - "Perfect. Any time you're ready, let 'er roll." ...

 

"Systems check. Looking good fore and aft."

Me - "So where'd this unit come from and what's BL?"
Cdtr - "It's a rebuild on it's way up north to Canada. Some private railroad up there. We're moving it along and giving it a run in."
Me - "Not a bad looking unit for an oldie. Hums along nice too. We're "just out for a rip" as they say up there. LOL"


"Lots of cars set out for the upgrade already eh?"


"Definitely a nice day for a run for sure."
