We finns are one of the countries with the most train fans, but still, we are almost never mentioned in any game. We love trains, we got a very good train system over here in finland, but STILL, no games. So i thought that if its possible to get finland with like Helsinki-Tampere route to the game, it would have possibilites to: Freight, Local and Long distance trains that can go 200kmh at some points. And because the only operator is VR, there would be possibilities to expand with multiple finland DLCs to like Jyväskylä etc. And there is one very interesting route, Tampere-Haapamäki-Jyväskylä which is not electrified and there is Dm12- trains. But please, just please make a finnish route. The route has beautiful nature, very interesting shunting at example in Ilmala. This is what trains go in the Helsinki-Tampere: LONG DISTANCE/HIGH SPEED: InterCity trains, capable of 200kmh. They run in different types of services, The limited stop ones: Helsinki-Pasila-Tikkurila-Tampere EveryStop one: Helsinki-Pasila-Tikkurila-Riihimäki-Hämeenlinna-Toijala-Lempäälä-Tampere. PENDOLINO/Sm3 Pendolino trains, built in italy, capable of 220kmh but i think they mostly run at 200kmh. They have the same stoppings the IC has i think. SHORT DISTANCE/LOCAL Sm5 Runs in Helsinki area, not going much further. Stops basically at every station. You could use the swiss version of this with little modifications. Sm4 Runs local trains all the way to tampere. Sm2 Used in rush hour trains from helsinki, and in Nokia-Toijala Tampere regional trains. LOCOMOTIVES: Sr1 Old Soviet electric locomotive from 1970s, used in cargo trains and there could be a scenario where this has to pull some IC with broken loco. Sr2 Swiss locomotive from the 90s, pulls mostly IC but sometimes freight. Sr3: A vectron used in IC and freight trains. Could use the normal vectron with small modifications. https://logistics.vr.fi/fi/vr-logistiikka/asiakkaan-opas/kalusto/ The freight carriages, gotta use translator on this one but if there is nothing but Helsinki-Tampere they could be left out or only like Sp/Sps and Gbln. The Tampere-Jyväskylä route would have more freight trains but no local trains. Most common IC carriages: Ed, a normal day carriage in long distance trains. Edo, control car thingy ERd, a restaurant car. CEd First class "Ekstra" Carriage. Edfs carriage with a little playground, handicap place and an conductor cabin. The stops: - Helsinki (All passenger trains) - Pasila (All passenger trains) Not a stop but ilmala yard, no freights here tho - Käpylä (Only HSL localtrains) - Oulunkylä (Only HSL localtrains) - Pukinmäki (Only HSL localtrains) - Malmi (Only HSL Localtrains) Tapanila (Only HSL localtrains) Puistola (Only HSL Localtrains) - Tikkurila (All passenger trains) The following stops have HSL localtrains only Hiekkaharju Koivukylä Rekola Hanala Korso Savio - Kerava (All localtrains) - Järvenpää (VR Locals) - Saunakallio (VR Locals) - Jokela (VR Locals) - Hyvinkää (VR Locals) - Riihimäki (All passengertrains.) Riihimäki freight - Ryttylä (VR Locals) - Turenki (VR Locals) - Hämeenlinna (All except not a freight start point) - Parola (VR Locals) - Iittala (VR Locals) - Toijala (All, even freight) - Viiala (VR Locals) - Lempäälä (All except no freight) Tampere viinikka (wood freight) Tampere freight - Tampere (Everything) AND a bonus to the tampere end - Tesoma (Toijala-Nokia locals) - Nokia (Toijala-Nokia locals) You would need licenses from only VR and HSL. I hope you could think about this and maybe this could be in TSW6, and it would be nice if we could see Tampere-Jyväskylä via jämsä AND haapamäki, or Helsinki-Joensuu. Thank you in advance.
