Xbox A High Speed Connection- Power Lock Out

Twice now when attempting to complete “a high speed connection, when stopped at Aachen-rotte Erde station I’ve been locked out of the power controller after locking the doors. There is a red box around the power/brake indicator on the hud. No amount of locking/unlocking the doors, standing up, sitting down, master switch off/on will release the lock. Both times this has happened after resuming from a save (I restarted the scenario after this happened the first time and now it’s happened again). This is not the same save as I’m going on the opposite direction to last time I saved.
I noticed that the rear cab had become active, with the headlights set to high beam and the master switch set to On. Even when I shut this cab down I’m still locked out of the other cab controls.

 

Ok after fiddling a bit, it seems to be a combination of the rear cab becoming active all in its own, and the door closing buttons not responding. The immersive controls weren’t working for either the left or right doors, and only the right hand doors responded to the buttons on the control desk. After manually pressing the right door close button (they were already closed and showing as such on the hud) I was finally given back control of the power.

 

Similar thing happened at the next station, Elendorf. Pressed the right d-pad and the hud says “right doors unlocked” but the doors remained closed. Pressed the button on the control desk and they open/close fine.
