Why not provide an umbrella for passengers who get off the train when it rains or snows? It's a small detail but it would help make the simulation more convincing :)

I like this idea too... sure, it’s a small thing- but it would definitely make the sim more ‘realistic’ (by definition I guess... I’ve been known to use umbrellas in the rain).

I have often thought the same. Even though I live in England I like baseball, I downloaded mlb the show 20 yesterday(you can't buy it in England on disc in shops) and was playing at Chicago last night, and it was raining, but nobody in a very detailed crowd was wearing a rain coat or using umbrella,so maybe its just one of them things and it isn't possible to add code for this.

NTP doesn't need them, it's upt' North.
T-shirts and shorts are considered suitable winter clothing.
As for the smoggies on TVL I'm surprised they even have t-shirts on to be honest!

This is true, short sleeves and shorts are okay for most Winters for Northeners, it takes a real bad one for them to get their big coats out.

for what technical reason could it not be possible? I guess it's just a matter of doing it or not doing it ... :|

The staff at the depots have enough to worry about with all the stowaways on the "empty stock move" trains. You want them to deal with thousands of lost property umbrellas too? :)

IRL, it’s a bit of a faux pas to have an umbrella open while the game is being played so as not to hamper the view or space of other fans. If you pay attention, you will see the fans wear coats and long sleeves in the cooler months and short sleeves in the summer. In Wrigley Field in Chicago, the ivy on the outfield wall even changes color with the season.

That being said, I do find it amusing to see people in t shirts and otherwise not react to a blizzard in TSW. I don’t know how easy or had that would be to change. Probably also depends on how many people they have so that they can divert labor to work on it.
