A Simple Qol Request

In amidst the requests to fix the save game, better night lighting, sound reverb etc, etc, there is one simple thing that would please me immensely.

Can you please get rid of that ultra annoying mouse white dot which ends up sitting in the centre of the screen over the track. Intensely distracting and it's not as if the mouse cursor proper doesn't appear when you move it anyway.

 

You can though. Go into settings, game and then look for "Crosshair Visibility" and set it to Off.

 

Ah. I learned something just now. Off it goes when I’m back on the game next.

 

Of course the problem as I just found - is, you do need it visible for certain cab functions which cannot be done via keyboard. For example the master switch on the 1972 or the various breakers you need to set on the US diesels.

So I sort of maintain my original suggestion - allow it to fade when not being used but if you use the mouse restore. Alternatively have a 25% setting for its visibility.

 

There is a setting for it to auto off when it moved. Move your position and it will reappear. Same settings area as mentioned above.

 

I will look for that, then!
