This route was mentioned as a possibility in a survey last November among 14 other routes. I recreated the question on the forums (at https://forums.dovetailgames.com/th...the-november-survey-discussion-i-guess.15376/) and this route is leading the poll as the most popular German option... so yes, this is probably a good idea!
Would love that route as well. DTG could re-use the BR185, BR146+DoSto and the Talent2 too (traffic red though). New vehicles "required" would be the ET423, ICE3M and Thalys PBKA. I'd love if it included the branches to from Stolberg Hbf to Stolberg Altstadt and to Langerwehe via Nothberg so we'd finally have a bit of diesel in Germany. The suitabble train would be the VT643 in euregio livery, which also used to run on the high-speed section between Cologne and Horrem not too long ago. Speaking of diesel, a BR294 or Voith Gravita would also be nice with that route. (And other routes, too)
