Feature Abandon Service But Take The Loco

This basically is an idea of a mixture between service mode and free roam, where you can spawn in a loco and set its path however you want.

And this idea actually can be divided into two different approaches (if one can't be implemented)

1.) Refuse AI takeover after doing a service
When a service is finished, AI is taking over and drive the train towards the end of the map. It would be cool to be able to break out of that overtaking and take the train whereever you like thereafter (a different station, depot or yard).

Example: Flixtrain from Fulda to Frankfurt Süd. When I finished the service, the game allows me that I abandon the AI service takeover, I set a path to Frankfurt Hbf and drive it further to there.

2.) Abandon/Break out of service
Think about if you do a service but suddenly feel "No, I don't want to head that way. I want to go somewhere else". Would be cool if there would be a way to break out of a service and then I could set paths however I like.

Currently what a player can do is abandon the control of a service, get out and spawn a new formation to go where they want to go. But could be handy if we could just do this with loco and formation we sit in.

As an addition, it would be nice if could get the AP achieved until that moment still.

 

You can do both of these already by clicking on the train and selecting "delete path" in the 2d map.

 

So I tried both and I should be able to do that probably but it didn't work.

1.) I cleared the path of a service and the timetable disappears from the timetable HUD. I created a new path, but somehow the game still refers to the old service for the instructions but gives a red signal.

In this screenshot, I've removed the path for the service to Frankfurt Süd and set a customized path to Offenbach instead. Edit: After a short while the loco gets taken over by AI for some reason.




2.) Overtaking a service after the performance breakdown screen at the end of a service, doesn't work either. After removing the path for it, I'm able to delete its schedule I guess and get rid of the AI driver.

However, I get the error "Cannot drive this service! You do not have persmission to drive this service" persists and I can't get back into the seat again.
