I'm showing my ignorance here, but does anyone have any idea of how raindrops and snowflakes on windows are handled in Train Sim World, particularly the windshield wipers clearing them off?

I seem to recall that this sort of thing in games generally started around the time Microsoft came out with DirectX11 or FS2K, but I never actually bothered looking under the hood, and for the life of me I can't seem to find anything exactly pertinent online, and I get the impression TSW has some form of standardized implementation.

I got the vague impression somewhere that this may be referred to as "weatherglass" in some capacity. I'm really not even sure how much of it is done in-material. Thanks in advance!
