Hello again, TrainGeek08 here, it feels like I'm everywhere on here at the moment, but today I'm announcing my latest release from my CC Roadmap: TrainGeek08's Creator's Club Roadmap 1st May-1st Jun 2023, the Acela Stopper scenario for the NEC: New York-Trenton route, this is my second 'DTG-esque' scenario so like Coswig Divert before it, there's a backstory... Backstory: New Jersey Transit (NJT) are refurbishing their ALP-46 + coaches + Multi Level Commuter Cab Car sets so there isn't enough trains to run all the services required for the day. Amtrak and Acela have opted to help NJT in running the services, meaning you'll see Acela Express EMUs & ACS-64s + Amfleets on stopping services on behalf of NJT, so that NJT can refurbish their electric fleet Release date: Thursday 11th May 2023 WIP shots await... The scenario starts at Trenton, and you are the Acela on the left, doing one of the cover services for NJT whereas the Acela on the right is on a normal Acela service bound for Boston South via New York, New Haven & Providence The race is on... which Acela will be first to Hamilton, the stopper or the express? The stopper overtakes the express, but how far away is Hamilton? In the end, the express obviously won as the stopper had to slow down to stop at Hamilton, the driver seems to have slightly overshot, wonder who that was?
