Steam Achievments Locked And Incorrect Collectable Display

Good day,
I have noticed that some achievements are locked even though I have completed the required task to gain that achievement. For example. I have completed all route tasks on Isle of Wright, however, I did not get any achievement.

So, I looked at my Profile -> Routes -> Isle of Wight -> Route Tasks. It's 40 / 40. So it is correct.
However, if I open Profile -> Route Tasks -> Isle of Wight, it shows 10 for each of the tasks HOWEVER, it displays 12 / 40 tasks completed. This is wrong - and this is likely the number linked to the achievement, so I won't be able to get it without starting a new account. This is frustrating, because I spent 2 hours trying to complete all the jobs on Isle of Wight, a relatively small route.

I hope this problem will get looked at and hopefully solved. Even though achievements might not seem that important, for some people, like me, it is actually a pretty important aspect of every game.

Have you imported your profile from TSW2?
If so, you should know that the achievement detection is done on completion of something. For example, completing one more route task, which in your case is not possible, as you already collected them all. ***
Your best chance of unlocking the achievement now is to start a new profile and collect them all again. Luckily, IOW is a small enough route. Follow one of the excellent guides available, like this one.

NOTE ***: Same happens with scenarios: if you completed them all in TSW2 then import the profile to TSW3, achievement is not awarded. However, if you complete all but one, then import and do the last one in TSW3, it will unlock the achievement.
For other types of achievements, like route services, boarding tasks, loco miles, all you need to do after import is one more. For example, say you completed ECW: Southern Servant in TSW2 (complete 100 services on ECW). After importing the profile to TSW3, do one more service and you should immediately unlock ECW: Southern Servant in TSW3. Although you had 100 services completed, the game only detects this after you complete one more service.

Yeah I thought it would work like this. Quite sad though, since IOW isn't the only route I have completed all route tasks for haha, so I need to do these again. Same with some scenarios on some routes, but if it's only those, I can start a new profile and complete them no problem.
Still it would be cool if DTG can fix this a bit so that it's not that difficult to get already earned achievements again.

It would have been nice if they did all the achievement checks at import time.
However, in the long list of issues that require a fix, you can expect this one to be a very very low priority, in the "never gonna happen" kind of time frame.

I always think of the Universe expansion theory when it comes to TSW list of known bugs. Some bugs will never be fixed, because by the time DTG could get to them, there will be more bugs created with a higher priority.
The list of known bugs expands with a speed higher than the speed of bug fixing.

 

I just did the IOW route tasks on PS5 TSW3, the trophy did unlock but on the profile page you show it only has 4/40 tasks done for the route, but also shows 4/xxx for all the routes. It clearly is bugged somehow
