I know how to release and override PZB on controller by holding the square button and pressing either left or right. I’m trying to figure out how to acknowledge, for the life of me I can’t figure it out. The internet is useless too, as I can’t find any information on it. Can anyone help me?
    Thank you.

Thanks. I just figured it out myself and was in the process of deleting my post lol.
    Many thanks for responding though.

I didn't even know that you could do square+left/right until now, probably one of the reasons I went to PC. but good thing I still remember (most of) the playstation controls!

Ha same here, in fact I only learnt how about it a few days ago. I’ve been using a keyboard for the alerts until now. I wish mouse support was added, the only thing DTG needs to add. Rail driver is probably asking too much ;)
It’s only tonight that I decided to spent a few hours on the game. Most of time has been on Alan Wake 2, and I needed a break from that.
Nice to get back to it. Chills me out.

There are a few controls on the controller that you won't find unless you look for them.

Here are a few more handy controls:

Square plus R1/R2 will decrease & increase AFB or cruise control on supported locos.
Square plus L1 will set the brakes to "lapped" which is really useful in locos like the Class 101.

Right Stick+Dpad Left will cycle through internal views
Right Stick+Dpad Right will cycle through external views

Right Stick+Left Stick up and down in an external camera will unlock zoom.

Still no camera speed up for Classic controls. Really sad they can't seem fix the controls over a month on from when TSW4 came out. It's been working in the game for many years now. Also the camera pitch/yaw seems way more sensitive in classic control mode.

And I noticed this as well, according to the in-game layout. AFB decrease is L2. It's not. tsw4_operations_shift_ps5.PNG

On the Raildriver front, Raildriver functionality can mostly be performed with a modified keyboard. You'd still need a gamepad for some functions and the game doesn't have mouse support OR custom keybinds for consoles. Hardest part IMO would be the levers followed by the speed display. Both might require an API interface if they are ever to work well on consoles.

Sorry, but with many trains this doesn't seem to work. The circle only triggers SIFA. There is no button for PZB acknowledgment which I find pretty annoying, as you get forced braking all the time because you can't get to the lever in time.

I've found you have to double press the button to (sometimes) get it to register, but it does work.

not sure whether that’s a PlayStation thing but on Xbox it’s always a single press of “B” to acknowledge any safety system, or extra buttons for PZB override and release.

some trains are set up so that you can’t do anything with PZB via the “B” button unless it’s at an appropriate time when it’s needed and not free will.
