If I was to bet my chances I would say Australia has better chances at being in TSW than many countries, though with better chances I would also say I wouldn’t hold my breath.:)

Would love to see Australia in game especially Sydney or Brisbane, the sydney to Brisbane route would currently be to long unfortunately. From what i see dtg aim routes to be 25 mi (40 km) - 75 mi (121 km). Sometimes routes will exceeded theese but rarely go over 100 mi (161 km)

wont happen due to the fact it would take a 3rd party company to do it and also would have to be licensed and that is not easy to do due to railways having to run there networks if anything a route that is a challenge would be the one to do like the central coast line from Hornsby To Gosford with H-sets and V-sets then part 2 of that line from Gosford to Newcastle or say Sutherland to Port Kembla Via Wollongong would be good with Coal Freight National Pacific Diesel Electrics and also would have V-Sets and T-Sets maybe some A/B Sets also would be a good challenge with Gradients the passenger trains would finish at Wollongong where freight would go to the steel works in Port Kembla also there is the Blue Mountains to Mount Victoria that would have a lot of stuff to do could start it from Blacktown or Penrith and also would be a Challenge with Gradients also it snows in winter up there so that is also a good idea to have it runs freight and passenger services also serves as the line as part of one of the biggest passenger trip in Australia The Indian Pacific the V-Sets run on there as of now but soon will be replaced and the Endeavour also runs along the line and also from time to time has steam trains run on there as part of events for railtours so lots of things u can do along that route so many things to think about there as someone that would also like to see a australian route there is 3 for u to dive into but sad to say like i said at the start Licensed and 3rd party would have to come and help us out get this off the ground as dovetail wouldnt dear try it as they like to stick more to what thay know u call it Train sim world yeah so lets make it so.

Most Australian interest in train simming seems focused on Trainz (huge NSW freeware network) or even older MSTS where most of the developers seem to have quit the scene and sites like SteamForMe shut down. So while an Aussie or even NZ route would be nice, realistically seems unlikely.

Maybe, but you still need to convince people that it’s worth switching to TSW. And the simple fact is, no commercial operation seems interested in developing Aussie content for either TSW or TSC. The editor DTG gave us for TSW still cannot officially “cook” anything even if a freeware author created a route. Not to mention you would need the traction and rolling stock assets to go with it.

How about Perth Western Australia Narrow Gauge commuter I do have a suggestion on it the Mandurah Line. That city is much closer to the United Kingdom since it has a direct flight to London Heathrow

I would prefer a Western Australia iron ore route with SD70ACes and ES44s for dragging long, heavy trains of ore hoppers through the Outback. An AC6000CW to recreate the world's longest and heaviest freight train record would be awesome, too.
