TSW has been crying for this for sometime, please add it, I would ask that it be per train and it remembers what you set but if that’s not possible a general slider will still go a long way to help.
A general slider would probably be less work, but some sort of setting is needed, especially for trains such as the London Underground stock where the speedometer is hidden.
