Bart could offer so much potential. you already have the tracks coded in at milbrae just copy and paste those tracks around the bay area
I think it would be very, very cool to add Bart (Bay Area Rapid Transit) to Train Sim World 4. There have been many suggestions on this, and Train Sim World has not done anything about it, If it's because there are no details to provide, well, I got the details. Click the map to view in to view in higher quality. Please I'm begging you from my heart that you please add Bart (Bay Area Rapid Transit) to the game including it's whole route. Thanks.
Nothing can be done if dtg don't have a license for it. This would have been better if you actually did a full suggestion for it with more detail in a new post. The picture is only a map. There's no info on rolling stock or service pattern or why it's a needed route
It's an Automated Regional Rail System in the San Francisco Bay area - the Automated is probably the biggest issue with it - Close doors - Press Start wait 5 mins for the next station - Open doors repeat A Fair chunk is in tunnel, and what isn't tends to be in the central reservation of the local motorways.
I guess Matt Groening would need to give a license permission to DTG first. Also what would he do in TSW? Spraying custom graffiti liveries or pranking some annoying passengers? Ay, caramba!
While I doubt DTG is going to revisit the TSW2020 route Peninsula Corridor, I do think it could be possibly for maybe a new route to be made in the bay area. I have no idea which one though since I've never been to San Francisco... Or the United States as a matter of fact. Still, it'd be nice to see it cruise by as you drive your own train past the BART tracks. Driving it would be... well, Unfeasible since it is automated.
Only 2 other passenger operators that DTG could make a route for are Amtrak California (With the Capital Corridor which runs between Auburn and San Jose) or Altamont Corridor Express (Between Stockton and San Jose). Outside of that. The only other option is a retro Peninsula Corridor route set in the Southern Pacific Era, but I doubt DTG would be able to do the research for that Era accurately enough for a route. Coul also piggy back off the Sacramento Northern route by Gtrax from TSC, which ran between San Francisco and Suisun Bay. But the bridge signaling would be a nightmare I'd assume.
Anything Amtrak is a big yes for me. I do admit though, I'd like to see more West Coast content since it looks pretty stunning, especially during sunsets.
