I realize this is a somewhat silly idea, but I think it could be fun. Right now, most of the achievement rewards are decals, posters, and scenery. Great. But how about something from the fictional HR department? Here are some examples from my own gameplay: 1. I think I earned Employee of the Month on the London Euston-Milton Keynes route driving the Class 350 in July. 2. My supervisor on the Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority wrote me up for being chronic lateness, and frequently missing stops. 3. I got recognized on the Gospel Oak Line for a relaxed and comfortable driving style which contributed to a positive rider experience. 4. On the other hand, on WCML Preston-Carlisle, I keep on getting called in for after work UAs. The way that I go flying, bouncing along across the countryside has lead to speculation that I am secretly drinking on the job. 5. I got written up on Sherman Hill for excessive damage to company equipment. These are all some of the things that happen in my head cannon, and I thought maybe those sorts of things could become achievements? Drive X many hours and get Employee of the Month... etc.
This is all stuff that could fit into a decent career mode tracker, rather than just lavishing AP even when you make a complete b@ls up of it.
I feel like my reviews would be filled with remarks that I'm always distracted while driving. At least if it was possible for the game to pick up on that.
Mine would be for paying too much attention to the train in external cam and not paying attention to dsd alarms
