I would say yes, but right now, we are scarce on good routes to run this locomotive. Sand Patch only has one station which seems impractical for passenger service. The new NEC is mainly based on Amtrak service, but P42s never run through there. Depending on the next American route, the P42 should be left on the backburner until a decent route comes out to run it on.
I want this sooooi bad! I want it with a Viewliner II baggage car, and Superliners and single level long distance equipment.
If it does come, the P42 would probably add-on DLC. Bare in mind that Metra would be the most logical thing to include with a DLC like that.
