Hi I’m Lachlan, other then a few minor issues I really love the Boston Sprinter route. This route really caught my eye back in August when it released but then I did not own it and so the only way I could really see it was through preview and review streams and videos. I’m writing this suggestion since I really like to drive Amtrak services and since there’s only 16 out of 186 I thought there could be 2 new timetables 1 of which including both the AEM-7 and ACS-64 and another only featuring the AEM-7. I ask for this locomotive because I feel like the Amtrak side of Boston Sprinter could do with more variety. I really hope you take this into consideration since I really want to see this locomotive in game.

It would definitely be a nice addition to the route, and give it more retro vibes compared to the modern ACS-64.

I love the AEM-7 and would definitely enjoy seeing it in the game. I think this would be an interesting opportunity for DTG to introduce turning substitution on or off as that would allow you to simulate the time where AEM-7s and ACS-64s ran together (a pretty short period of time) without locking yourself into a new timetable. I imagine a challenge with doing the AEM-7 is that there are only a few running units remaining (although with caltrain having a couple maybe DTG could use their relationship there).

I do think introducing the locomotive by doing a "historic" route in the Baltimore or Philadelphia areas could be cool too as we could see the AEM-7 operating with SEPTA or MARC in addition to Amtrak.

You mean SEPTA 2301-2307 since 2308 is ALP-44M. 901-915 are ACS-64. DTG and Skyhook Games can make 901-915 by Reskinning ACS-64 600-670

It would be interesting if DTG added Amtraks older NEC electrics to the route, a mixed route with the AEM-7 and HHP-8, but I feel like both are better suited to a new section of the NEC with the locos being subable into the Boston timetable, vs as a loco DLC for Boston Sprinter.

problem is the route is based after 2018. the one thing they messed up on is using the newer mbta f40ph-3c's, instead of the older f40ph-2c. that would make the route much more realistic, since there are no bi levels, the amfleets are unrefurbished, etc... every aspect of the route is before 2018 other than the f40ph.

Thats a beautiful picture! gotta love the old toasters, and the hhp-8's! Even though the hhp-8's where riddled with technical problems they are still very good looking!
