Many locomotives in TSW, such as the class 45, class 31 and BR 155 have adjustable seat heights. Despite that, adjustable seats are rarely seen in the game, sometimes leaving players with very ackward driving positions. One example of this is the newly released Vectron, which on PS5 has a very high seating position. There are situations where having a higher searing position is useful, such as shunting, where a higher seat height ensures maximum visibility from the cab. However while travelling on the main line, a bit lower seat height allows you to take glances at all the gauges without having to look down with the camera. There are also some locos with very bad visibility in certain conditions such as the BD BR 110, where the wipers are so high that your view is easily blocked by rain. Having an adjustable seat there could help with the visibility. Overall I think that having adjustable seats in all trains going forward would be a really good improvement to the game. They allow more freedom to customize your experience and adapt to in game challenges. It also makes the trains feel more detailed and therefore more life-like. I don't know how much adjustable driver seats affect the game's performance, but since the locos that have them run as smoothly as the ones that don't, I doubt that it would be much.
