When I do a timetable run I can't change the weather. The menu's appear to be broken. When exploring on foot this is different and I can change the settings. No dynamic weather is sad enough, being only able to drive in the same weather over and over is worse.
Since the core update, you can't actually see which slider you have selected but they should still move.
Just confirmed, weather options in timetable are working for me. What specific system are you on? Which routes have you tested this on? (Also note that the snow slider will not move at all unless the temperature is low enough)
Thanks! It actually worked. Now I feel stupid again, I even hooked up a keyboard to see if that would work.
Its been like this since the core update months ago. The slider moves but cant see which 1 your picking.
It's easy to have missed the core update messing with the sliders either if you're new to the game or took a break, and the snow thing it took me a moment to catch on to when initially it seemed like it'd only work in specific months but then you realise it only works on specific months unique to the selected route where temperatures get low enough, so it's not always months like December. (Gonna be interesting once we get some southern hemisphere routes where you can only get snow in like July-August)
The menu felt unresponsive to me and the GUI in general isn't that great so yes I missed the sliders could actually move and just assumed it was broken. But I am happy that I now am able to change the weather at least.
