Hello everyone. I need some advice for reskinning some buses that DTG have included in their routes. However I am aware that the GeoPcDx files must NOT be included in any reskins for trains when the aforementioned reskins are released to the the public to prevent copyright fraud. However my needs are somewhat different because I am making a fictional Northern Ireland route and I am looking to tweak the double decker bus into Translink NI liveries of both Ulsterbus and Belfast Metro to represent the Volvo B7TL Alexander ALX400 buses that are seen around Northern Ireland and it will make my freeware route more convincing in the process. Obviously there are other variants that exist outside of Northern Ireland and I am also intending to do a standalone reskin for a London version and a provincial version that people could add to their routes if they wanted to add them to the car spawner list or just as a bus station filler. Obviously I will give proper credit to DTG for the original work but I wanted to seek advice before I get stuck in.

Thanks. I was unaware that there was an Enviro 400 available for TS. Although I have no problems in giving clear instructions for copying over the needed GeoPcDx files to make my ALX400 Dennis Trident/Volvo B7TL buses work. The plan is to photo-reskin the Arriva bus as EEZ 2885 for Ulsterbus and EEZ2911 for the Magenta livery for the Belfast Metro version. As for the London versions on the Trident chassis. I am going to photo-texture from my collection of Northcord ALX400 buses that I have like the Stagecoach London, London United, Metroline and First London etc.
The moving of Geo files is common in repaint instructions Nothing that people won't be able to handle

I had thought about swapping the default Kuju bus with one of those Arriva or Stagecoach versions but I could not work out to get the thing to work - it was ok as a static vehicle but not a moving one
This is a first for me. Its not an easy one to repaint but it all else fails. I will buy a cheap 3D model of an ALX400 and port it into the game as a replacement or an addition. It doesn't need an interior or anything fancy. I just wanted to make an add-on to go into TS2021 to make the Wright Gemini/Plaxton President into a real ALX400. I will be using my Northcord ALX400 Trident for the textures so I will likely have to resize the DTG ones into 1024x1024 format to make the overlays fit. I just bought another model for photo texturing as well. If all else fails. I will approach the creator of the Enviro 400 to see if he would be interested in doing this project if he would knock up the 3D model if I supply the photos.
