I am a newby to TS18 and train ops in general. Tonight I took a Class47 passenger train to Leamington Spa etc. At first I was running along at 96mph in a 100 and was operating as I would expect but later on in the scenario even at full throttle I could only achieve 17.9mph for the remainder of the journey. I was stopped a couple of times presumably due to the next block being busy but what I would like to know please is if the 17.9 speed was a restriction applied automatically to the train by a signal or control man? Or was this simply an error on my part! All brakes were off and controls as they should, full throttle etc. so this is all I can think of? Any advise would be greatly appreciated. Loving the sim so far. Thanks in advance.
