The AFB seems to be working properly in terms of slowing down for me on PS4 Pro in TSW 2 now, which is great. However, when turning AFB on, it doesn’t seem to work like it used too. In TSW2020, I would put the reverser in forward, then switch on AFB. As soon as I switched on AFB, I would get an audible ‘AFB, AFB, AFB’. I would then put the AFB lever at 40 kph in anticipation of PZB. Now, when I switch AFB on, I don’t get any audible ‘AFB, AFB, AFB’. Instead, I get an audible ‘AFB’ when I start to move the AFB lever to 40 kph. I don’t know if this is a bug or how it is meant to work, but it’s different in TSW 2 than it was in TSW 2020.
The AFB functions on the DB BR 146.2 in the preserved MSB route for TSW 2 as it used to function on the DB BR 185.2 in RSN for TSW 2020. I haven’t tried it on the DB BR 185.2 in MSB yet. I’ll update this thread again when I’ve had time too.
The DB BR 185.2 AFB works as it did in TSW 2020. As soon as you turn it on, you get an audible AFB, AFB, AFB. This suggests the AFB in the DB BR 185.2 in RSN is slightly broken, in that you only get an audible AFB when setting an AFB speed on the AFB lever.
