so what are you waiting for to update TSC 2024 and make it TSC 2025? what are you waiting for? do you want to update this game or are we waiting for the end of the world! I really don't think we should wait until December 31st of the year just started. TSC is updated every year. TSC is updated annually. Every year you MUST update TSC. after the start of the new year you MUST update TSC. TSC 2024 was updated after the start of 2024. now we are in 2025 guys let's wake up!!!!! do you want to update TSC 2024 and make it 2025 TSC 2025? What are you waiting for? Please start doing it? thanks.
like nothing to update? What do you mean? Yes, there is an update to be made. The 2025 version MUST come out. It is the 2025 version that MUST come out and that ABSOLUTELY MUST be updated, not the routes or anything else.
PLEASE GO IMMEDIATELY AND UPDATE TSC 2024 with the 2025 version. Every year it has to be updated. What do you mean it will never happen? What does that mean? You absolutely have to update it to the 2025 version. We are in 2025 now do you want to understand or NOOOOO? We are no longer in 2024 as before. We are not anymore. We are in 2025. The time has come to absolutely do the 2025 version for TSC.
Welcome to davide.sfredda, some of us know him from the other side (steam forum). We have all explained to him why things are the way they are, but he either dosen't understand or dosen't want to except what we have told him as a suitable answer, so he will continue with his posting in this way for....... who knows. But to be fair, someone from the steam forum has been playing games with him, saying that there is going to be an update (more likely not), but they are not telling, I think it's a bit cruel really, so it might be the reason why he's annoyed and demanding an answer, an answer that suits him. At the end of the day though, all most of us want is some kind of confirmation from DTG what is going on with TSC and the core of the game, instead of us assuming, I think by DTG remaing silent will actually do more harm than good.
The TSC desk is obviously empty. DTG are busy fending off all of the complaints about TSW5. No one is allowed to tell us what is happening with TSC. Let’s enjoy what we have. Respectfully
the reality of the facts you have not understood at all. It is not me who does not understand and it is not even that I deny your facts of your reality. The problem is that if I say that the facts of reality is that every year the game TSC updates annually it becomes the year after. Every year TSC updates and IT MUST UPDATE. It is not that it does not update anymore. TSC updates every year. EVERY EVERY EVERY YEAR TSC must be updated. But it is the version that must be updated. The version of the new year. Now you should put the 2025 version of TSC. And do not leave the 2024 version of TSC.
And the question to ask again is WHY does it need updating. Ok you could rename TSC 2024 to 2025 but NOTHING would change in the game.
with TSC what is happening is that none of you are not scheduling the update with the 2025 version on Steam. No one is scheduling it when instead you should be scheduling the update with the 2025 version for TSC. And this is a big problem. I authorize you to do this and DTG should also authorize themselves to do this. Thank you.
Dude you are being delusional. We are just TSC players. We have no control over what DTG does. There is a 95% chance that there will never be another update to the core TSC. All emphasis seems to now be with TSW. You need to understand that what we have now is what we will continue with. DTG/Steam will add extra 3rd party DLC, however, DO NOT expect any future changes to the core to be made. Fatti una vita Respectfully
I feel you need to calm down, take a long hard re-read of your posts to date in this thread and then delete them. You are just ranting complete gibberish. Do you honestly think any of us here are going to take you seriously, I think not.
Be thankful that DTG do largely leave TSC alone. There’s a few things that could do with sorting like AI train headlights, but otherwise the old adage of, “If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it”, applies. Plus given the state TSW has deteriorated into it raises the very significant questions of 1. Are DTG currently employing (or even outsourcing) any programmers at present and, 2. Do we really want them messing with the TSC code?! So far as the OP is concerned, posting a semi articulate rant-o-gram and follow ups in similar vein, is not going to get a response from DTG, other than maybe the forum moderation to ban or cite you!
I am curious to know what is everyone's take on TSC v75.8a vs the current TSC v77.6b. Aside from the headlight flares working properly working in TSC v75.8a, what is the benefit? The other day, when I purchased Bozeman pass from steam, it appeared in TSC v77.6b but did not appear in my TSC v75.8a install. Is there a way to get that newly purchased route to appear in TSC v75.8a which is depot 24009 that I have installed on another drive within my workstation?
I am no expert. I believe the newer version forces game save data to be held offline (ie. the Career.xml file is no longer an option and an external reference file is used instead). There may be some trigger that prevents newer released files from being enabled in a previous version of the core. Sadly Spikee is not around to be able to answer this question. Respectfully
Thanks for letting me know, what happened to spikee? From what I understand, there is no way to purchase a route from Steam and have it appear in the older core of TSC, v75.8? Is there something in TSC v77.6b that can be edited so the headlight flares work properly like how they used to? I am tempted to go back to the old core but not to sure if it's a good idea? or if I should stick with using the newest core, v77.6b?
In the headlight blueprint there is a field for "Flare fade end distance", which I guess TSC treats as a render end distance in 77.6b. So, after this the flare/light is not rendered. Maybe this was the intention when they made the headlight flare feature, but until the core update(s) it has been the distance where the flare doesn’t change its size, and still rendered after this. It is basically lacking a "render end" field in the blueprint. But if you want, you can change the fade end distance to 1000m, then the lights will be visible for a longer time. You might want to play with the flare start- and end size.
That is good to know. Where do you go to modify the fade end distance for the lights as well as the flare start and end size?
I would like DTG to post an announcement here in the forums saying that the 2025 update for TSC will be released tomorrow. Train Simulator Classic 2024. I would like DTG to post an announcement here in the forums saying that TSC is about to be updated to version 2025. That he should know but not that it doesn't say anything. Otherwise it's over here. I continue to see the 2024 version of TSC on Steam. Until DTG posts any announcement regarding the 2025 update for TSC I will continue to ask to be able to post it.
Dude this is a forum for players NOT DTG Staff. If you feel this strongly about what is not going to happen, send them an email directly. This is where we the players discuss stuff NOT a place to fix stuff. PUT IN A TICKET and stop harassing us! smettila con le lamentele
He did similar on the steam forums, most of them were closed (I had to ask JD to step in, but in this case i have mentioned to Jamie that he came here. I tried to help him on steam, he doesn't listen. I pretty much said there have been no announcements, I mean I don't know anything, but equally i'm now on TSW - so I'll find out probably at a similar time to most people on here - if anything is announced )
For sh.ts and giggles I have read the thread on Steam. My suggestion is that DTG should rename TSC to TSC 2026 on 1st April, and make it backwards compatible with Windows 7
But certainly you can then make it only work on Windows 7? Or Update 1 for the year, Windows 8.1 Update 2 - Windows 8 ans so on. Cant we have a XP version please
Whilst there has been a yearly release from DTG in the past, I suspect part of the reason they renamed it to Train Simulator Classic was because it was just easier than adding a year to it. I also suspect part of the reason is because they were no longer working on the sim or producing routes in-house.
Good morning. Please do not spam or duplicate requests/questions/threads. Repeated breaking of the forum rules may result in a temporary or permanent ban.
TSC2025 l'1 aprile 2025. NON TSC2026
Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 came out in November 2020 and is still called that and doesn't have a name change, which you can still purchase. Microsoft released a new version called Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 in November last year, and it is still called that in 2025 and will remain called that forever. Maybe a new version will be released in 2028, which will be called MS FS 2028 forever. Do you get the idea? I would say probably not.
Looking back, why did DTG call it only TSC a couple of years ago? and then revert it back to ending it with a date at the end. They should of left it as it was, it would of saved all this confusion (well one person's confusion), specially if DTG knew nothing more was going to be done with it.
Please write in English, this is an English speaking forum, other wise we can not understand you, therefore we will not be able to try to help you either. Thank You.
Just right-click over the top of it and in the menu that comes down select translate to English. I'm using Microsoft Edge as my browser I don't whether that works with other browsers. Look, we are in 2025. Next year is 2026. If it really would do it on April q of this year 2025. TSC2025 April 1, 2025. DON'T TSC2026
I’m pretty impressed with myself. I’m learning Italian and I understood almost those messages without resorting to google translate!
I can see I've not missed an awful lot since my Christmas and New Year break, if this thread is anything to go by!!! Cheerz. Steve.
