Ahs Railworks Ashford To Lille Installation

I purchased this route yesterday and can't seem to install it properly, near enough all of the assets are failing to show up.

Anyone who has also bought this, how did you install it?

It seems you might have missed copying something.

IMHO they should at least have made it an .rwp package or ship with an installer for convenience.

Edit: Just read on another forum that you need the JustTrains CommonLibrary asset pack which is distributed with other routes from JT and that they are sorting this out atm.

 

Just purchased... but now where can I download it? Did they send you a link by email? I got no confirmation or anything and have not created an account there.

(That's why I normally only buy stuff from Steam...)

 

you should become an email with the download links. If not you should perhaps contact them.

Oh and I see, on facebook theres a update file for Class 373 sound

Ok here's the facts. Looked into RouteProperties.xml (tells you which assets are needed), and yes you have to have Assets\JustTrains\CommonLibrary.

Fun route to drive. But the second scenario "Shuttle Service to UK" is broken, sending you to "FR-TERMINAL-SHUTTLE8" instead of "GB-SHUTTLE-TERMINAL8". Easy to fix with the editor though.

 

PAid for Loco and route and just got loco (executable file ) and 4 manual ( 2 english and 2 french ). Gte no responses when chasing for route so may just get my car provider to get my money back if i dont get a repsonse. I have emailed twice so the alarm bells are ring for me but Id like to give benefit of doubt

 

The thread you replied to is over a year old and I'm surprised you were able to purchase the route and loco -
The Author of AHS seems to have disappeared from the scene

 

I think the dev took the money people spent on the route and train and did a runner.

 

Why do you think he did that? Nothing to gain by running away.

There is the possibility he is not able to continue with the project

 

This now appears to be broken since DTG updated the game, I can't get the panto to raise on either the class 9000 on the class 373 eurostar. Anyone got a workaround or a possible fix? I hope the dev will post an update but I'm not hopeful.

 

At the moment, all you can do is wait and play (if you have made a core backup before the update which was recommended by many here) from your backup folder.

DTG are currently fixing issues. But if they have reason to have the core stay as it is, resulting in incompatibilites with some 3rd party addons - it is up to the loco developer to fix the issues and update their files.

Smokebox and Searchlight Simulations have already done so.

I actually can't get to the page for buy the rote or train and I have an account but when it asks me the password and I enter it, it says me that isn't correct. So I went to the first page and I tapped log-in and when I entered my password ita showed me my info account.
Does anyone know why I can't get to the buy page?

Wouldn't be surprised if the author took it down - hopefully to release an updated version someday but who knows.

 

Railexcel, previously SK Trains announced a few weeks ago they are making the Class 373.

 

Though AHS' version is complex and well done imho. Let's see.

 

Apart from the AHS 373 not seeing the DTG TVM so you cannot run it on London to Ebbsfleet or Lyon - Marseille it seems to be a good unit.

I actually just searched but I think that it’s the only browser to buy the E373

 

The link above only takes you to the Route.
The 373 is a separate purchase and the author has restricted log-ins to the site
AFAIK the builder has not updated the model and you won't be able to use it assuming you could download it.

looks like the guy behind ahs deffo did a runner

 

One positive aspect: nobody can buy now a broken DLC
Negative: I think that was it. No updates to the train after the DTG-Core-Updates. It will be broken forever (except an TS-update leads to an surprising rebirth)
