Not a technical problem as such, but something funny I thought I'd share. Perhaps this has been reported before. On Tees Valley Line I had just brought in a Class 101 from Darlington to Middlesbrough, the end for that service. I had left the train and decided to return to free roam to wander around a bit. I wanted to check when its next service would be, so I got back in the driver's seat I had arrived in (perhaps important to trigger this behaviour) and got the message that it was due in a few minutes. I had no intention to perform that shift, so I got out and waited on the platform for a bit. At the proper time the obligatory message appeared to unlock the doors and start loading passengers. But to my surprise, the doors then opened and passengers started loading... It appears an AI driver had spawned in the driver's seat at the other end of the 101, since it was scheduled for a return trip to Darlington. Then I got the message to depart for the next station, but the AI driver got the train in motion and starting heading there, with me still standing on the platform at Middlesbrough. I waited it out and the AI brought the 101 safely to Darlington. As I expected, I got to see its Performance Evaluation screen. It collected 5,500 AP and a gold medal which were then added to my statistics. BTW, returning to free roam once again I found myself still at Middlesbrough. I would not have been surprised had I been teleported to Darlington, but alas...
