Hi All, I’m proposing the Airedale and Wharfdale Lines in West Yorkshire set in the late 90s / 2000. The line links Leeds with Ilkley, Bradford and Skipton, if route extensions ever became a thing it could be a building block for the other WYPTE routes or the Keighley & Worth Valley Railway The stock would be the BR Class 308 EMUs reduced to 3 cars and painted in WYPTE Metro Train livery There could be an option for a DLC of a Class 333 due to the overlap of operations on the line in 2000/2001 Why these lines? - it’s a closed route so all unit operations could be performed in a 24 hour cycle with potentially a full timetable of every unit in the class including all branches they visit. Layering in potential assets for NTP, TVL and WCR (although the 150s depicted on WCR would be Western Region sets) and the Class 66 A step back in time to a different era where doors were slammed shut and there was no annoying bleeping buttons. Stations often looked unkempt and PTE and BR logos ruled rather than corporate logos and garish liveries! - Fantastic
