This is because these lines are very unique and cool fun lines. The longest route only takes about 50 minutes as well and no route wherever you’re going takes an hour or more. This would be a great and fun addition to the TSW network in addition to all the other existing lines which are also great in their own unique ways. One or the other (or both if you’re generous) of the lines would be splendid driving the allocated trains (Class 331s and Class 333s, the 333s are slowly decreasing in the fleet for the Airedale Line though so you could leave that out if you want).

If you install the Airedale Line, you could also add the Class 158 to use (you could put that as a normal addition or to more exclusive packs) for the Leeds to Morecambe, Lancaster or Carlisle services (which will obviously terminate at Skipton) which would be great as you also get a taste of semifast between Leeds and Skipton only taking around 35 minutes as it only serves Shipley, Bingley and Keighley on the way.
If you really wanted to add some exclusiveness and speed, you could add the LNER Azumas for a London King’s Cross (Leeds) to Skipton quick service only serving 2 stops (Shipley (limited) and Keighley) and only taking about 25 minutes) but I know that will never happen. Just an out of the box suggestion.

Either way it would be a great addition to add either or both of these lines to the game.

In total if you put the Airedale and Wharfedale Lines in one map, there would be 19 stations:

    • Leeds (terminus)
    • Kirkstall Forge
    • Apperley Bridge
    • Shipley (sometimes a terminus)
    • Frizinghall
    • Bradford Forster Square (terminus)
    • Saltaire
    • Bingley
    • Crossflatts
    • Keighley
    • Steeton & Silsden
    • Cononley
    • Skipton (terminus)
    • Baildon
    • Guiseley
    • Menston
    • Burley-in-Wharfedale
    • Ben Rhydding
    • Ilkley (terminus)
