Since airplanes gonna be present in TSW5. It would be good to see plane smoke trails in the skies of all back catalogue in tsw5. So while you are in the cabin of your train you’ll look up at the sky and see plane smoke trails. It would be a nice view from the sky. Specially while using train like 101 or ice trains or any type of trains that has bigger view. Now for the passengers that would be even a more spectacular view coz you’ll see the smoke trails from all different locations. I made an example of how it would look like sorta say Ha Ha Ha. You’ll be able to see something going on in the skies as well. The white line represents the smoke something like that
Agreed. It's all about bringing life into the scene, and contrails are certainly a feature of the skyscape.
They should add planes for TSW, like if you at Cumberland Sand Patch Grade, take a flight to rock wood!
It would be cool to see low flying GA aircraft sometimes in some of the routes as well. (Particularly on warm/sunny days) Maybe even military aircraft such as A400s or C130s on some occasions
ericb You are indeed a very creative guy full of ideas, and I do support the concept of Brainstorming, then filtering. It would be nice if you could use the proper Suggestions subforum though, not needing the mods to move each of your threads manually, just a thought.
I just want to drive through Gatwick station on BML, without some psychopath pilot flying a 737 at mach 3 above me on a suicidal trajectory. Currently looks like an ICBM is about to blow-up London.
I believe there was a small GA plane flying around in Tees Valley Line route, near Teesside Airport. Cajon Pass route has a rather nicely (for a train sim) modeled small airport right next to the tracks (Hesperia, L26). No airplanes flying around it, though. If continuing this idea further, helicopters could be considered, too.
Wasn't this a thing on the older skies in tsw? I'm sure I've seen what looks like chemtrails on routes like bml, tvl etc...
