Support Ticket sent. What I don't understand is why my liveries 'BR' and 'GBRF' have been withdrawn, when there are others who have uploaded them without a issue? Hell, even DTG use the BR double arrow symbol! Why my plain orange and red BR363 has been withdrawn, unless the using the German word for Driving School is copyrighted? Where's the Copyright infringement on this? Are the use of a countries national colours a Infringement on Copyright rules, and are the use of National livery colours a Big No, No? If so What colours are permitted? Also Why are DTG Breaking their Own rules with the use of the British Rail Yellow and Blue, and the large White British Rail logo plastered on their loco's? At the end of the day DGT, How we create our liveries is not a infringement on copyright, As you are Not selling the game with any loco's advertising any companies (Except British Rail) using the liveries created by the games user. Sorry DTG but you are a JOKE! I will not be buying another one of your products again!
I don't know about the German ones but I know mods get taken down due to copyright, profanity or inappropriate content
I have never heard of a livery being pulled from CC over an IP claim. I think this is a software glitch
Very possible. Especially as it was all of my liveries that got withdrawn. Either that, or there is someone that reported them all for a laugh?
God knows what is going on inside Creators Club. They always used to remove my MBTA F40PH liveries for no reason at all, even support couldn't tell me anything, just to try upload it again. After they got removed several times, I gave up. Now I am playing again after a few months break and my MBTA liveries are available again, so apparently they got restored while I was away from the game for a while.
I selected the edit then reposted them last night. They are still available for now! I wonder if I will get a response to my emails?
Well I got a response from the ticket that I put in. When liveries are submitted submitted they all get checked by the moderators. Unfortunately when I submitted mine they had to be put in a queue due to high volume, so the liveries are withdrawn until they have been checked. My liveries have been approved and haven't breached any ruling. So my sincere apologies to Those at DTG for my rant above. However, If anyone at DTG read this? A Suggestion that needs implementing.. If this is the case, instead of it being labelled "Withdrawn" with the explanation of it it being Copyright, Abusive, or Explicit! It should State "Due to high volumes this is in a queue awaiting Moderation" Instead of maker user feel like they have broken your rules! Is it too much to ask for to be respected? After all the cost of the game plus all the addon's have cost us (the User) a extremely high amount of money!
Yep. Had to bite the bullet on my first version of the IOW Class 484 Real Livery on an M7 with logos but I had to unbrand it to be ok. Oddly my 484 WITH branding went through
It seems they let certain liveries with branding off the hook and some not, look at my 323 livery for example, fully branded and nearly at 300 subscribers (although it depends on licensing at the end of the day) On another note, I had to reupload one of my scenarios the other day because of copyright I'm guessing or it could be the queue issue elric#1386 mentioned above, it was fine for a month before a mod seemed to realise that ICE is copyrighted in the first instance or the second instance would be that the queue was too busy so my mod was withdrawn and I had to reupload it
It does be like that. I was gonna make an ICE 3 livery as a Eurostar but it said the content was not suitable.
Yeah, that's a pain sometimes, same with ScotRail liveries, with ScotRail in the title and/or the description of the mod
Uploading a livery or a route, then editing them and re-uploading them within a few hours in between can cause the same issue. As the first version is still in the moderators inbox waiting to be checked.
