Given that in TSW3 the loco assets are being divorced from the routes, could all new timetables have "slots allocated" where any train from any route could be dropped in and perform either a full length run, or a stopping run? This would allow people who like "free drive" type mechanics to put any train into a fully populated route and just drive. Of course this may cause issues with the movements around it (thinking putting a 38 stock on the SEHS and what that would do to the trains behind) but still. Would be nice
