Sometimes, I just want to capture a small portion of the screen in TS or TSW rather than taking a full screenshot and editing it later. A couple of days ago, I stumbled into a way of accomplishing this: pressing WIN + SHIFT + S opens the Windows Snip & Sketch tool, which allows you to capture a rectangular, free-form, windowed, or full-screen image to the clipboard. The clip opens in a new window, where it can be edited in various ways, zoomed, saved, copied, shared, etc.
