I've noticed quite a difference between some cabs occlusion filtering out bridge reverb, the class 150 for example filters it out completely? and others do a superb job, why the inconsistency? Why are there no standards for devs to adhere to? And why aren't DtG making sure third party developers stick to some common standards? I've also noticed the inconsistency on bridge reverb between routes ATS doesn't have it primarily because Alan ain't bothered. Newer routes should have it and they do but there's quite a lot of bridges that are missed out! It ruins the immersion for me can we please have some consistency.
Agreed. All these inconsistencies on new routes is very annoying. Just like our referees in the Premier League, they are consistent at being inconsistent
Not only should it be a mandatory feature on all new routes and trains going forward (including 3P's) they should also be putting in clatter at suitable rail over road structures too. MSTS had that nearly 25 years ago.
It would be fantastic if they added reflected sounds off of trackside buildings walls etc now that would be something!
I asked the question on the recent roadmap stream about bridge/ tunnel reverb and it is supposed to be part of the core. Matt said he wasn't sure why it's there on some routes and not others. He was going to look into it. Reverb was on a old route like Tees valley but I have noticed since moving onto TSW6 reverb has disappeared on that route.
