    1938 Stock

The 1938 Tube Stock by Rivet Games was previewed on a live stream, and it made me think about its implementation and use. The 1938 Tube Stock is my favourite of all the London Underground trains and I was glad to see finally being brought to the game. Although I am sure as many did, I had changed the Class 483's livery in the livery design to make it into a 1938 Stock.

My ambitious idea would be to completely remodel the Bakerloo Line to how it would have been in 1938, along with the appropriate textures, passenger clothing, sounds etc. The setting would only be 5 years after the unification of all London Underground lines under the then recently formed London Transport in 1933. I know the past in games is a taboo topic as the desire for modern is far greater. But saying that, the London Underground was always way ahead technologically of national rail lines.

    Stations

I haven't been able to find any photos of station interiors of the Bakerloo Line in the 1930s, and I do not believe the stations have changed too much since. I would think period-appropriate posters would add to the ambience of how it would have been as well as advertisements of the era too. Just as an example, here is a link to the 1930s collection of posters on the London Transport Museum Shop website.https://www.ltmuseumshop.co.uk/posters/collections/vintage-retro?decade=22&product_list_limit=36

In 1938, the Bakerloo Line had 6 additional stations opened in 1917 after Harrow & Wealdstone that was withdrawn in 1982.
    1. Watford Junction
    2. Watford High Street
    3. Bushey
    4. Carpenders Park
    5. Hatch End
    6. Headstone Lane

    Game Implementation

    1. 1938 Stock - Heritage Line - Art Deco comes to Train Sim World 2 where you can drive the 1927 Standard Stock and the 1938 Stock on the Bakerloo Line. New collectables as putting up vintage posters, tube maps and collecting lost property.
    2. 1972 Stock - Bakerloo Line - Drive the 1938 Stock and the 1972 Stock from Elephant & Castle to Harrow & Wealdstone. Add route maps, newspapers, and posters as you explore the line.
This would be done by having an option between modern with the 1972 Stock and heritage with the 1938 Stock in the menu. I think it would be nice to have the Standard Stock running on the line with the 1938 Stock. I'd also have the 1938 Stock running on the line with the 1972 Stock of equal volume just to add some variety to the route.

I know this idea is very niche and it is very unlikely to ever be created in TSW, but I thought I would share the idea of a setting in the past on the London Underground regardless.

That would be very nice but I'd rather have 2 tube line routes to cover both periods than just the one.
