This route would be a great addition to TSW. The thalys TGV and the Euristar are on this route. Several Dutch trains such as the new ICNG 200kph are on this route so extra trains as later dlc are possible. It would be realy welcome to see the Eurostar added to the timetables of Southeastern as a bonus. Aside from having to use the european safety systems for high speed, the Dutch train guidance system and Belgian safety systems have to be used. Also several power chances have to done. .
Getting both Eurostar (almost impossible) and Thalys llicense is not that easy sadly enough. Its owned by SNCF/SNCB/NS/DB and all need to say yes to see atleast Thalys, also the ICNG is not in service yet so seeing that one already would be weird. What we can see instead of the ICNG is ofc the NS Traxx. In the end we will not see this route any soon sadly enough, both Netherlands & Belgium would be lowkey dead due missing stock (Brussel can have the TGV Duplex & ICE3M to layer on!)...
Licence Problem for Eurostar and Thalys. So are the Dutch Railways NS & NMBS/SNCB. This route sees SNCB/NMBS HLE 28 Bombardier that can do Freight Brussels Antwerp whole route Passengers. Spoiler: SNCB/NMBS HLE 28 Bombardier feature This locomotive has DB OBB PZB LZB Sifa ETCS SNCB TBL Memor II & Dutch ATB EG. Making it the only Belgian locomotive to Run SKA RRO as a Liege Kinkempois to Hagen Vorhalle and Main Spessart Bahn SFS Hannover Wurzburg Liege/Antwerpen Noord-Passau freight via Rohrbach Bbf evening. Day time to Gemunden via Lohr
Thalys and Eurostar are merging too, so there will be some re-branding going on. I think the route is potentially too long and too complex with an average journey time of 1h50 or so. A lot of other rolling stock would be needed to make it feel alive.
Well it will all be named 'Eurostar', but Thalys will keep her beautiful bordeaux livery luckily! This also means that it'll be also impossible to get old Thalys in the game, since it is Eurostar, or maybe they'll be more flexible with their license!
