The Amtrak ALC-42 should definitely be in Train Simulator 2021. I think it would be a very cool sight to see in a route featuring Amtrak.

If you are trying to get people on board give them more info - if people have to look what the loco/train is they won't bother

We don't even have any of the commuter Chargers yet, not to mention Amtrak has BARLY took delivery of the 1st one not too long ago......

This is a very, very good point. lol
Amtrak is in the process of a full fleet upgrade. If we wait a bit before adding these new locos Amtrak has bought, we will have new coaches that can be released alongside the Chargers.

Amtrak ALC 1.jpg Amtrak ALC 2.jpg Is this better?
Also this is the Amtrak ALC-42. There are over 80+ other locomotives that Amtrak signed and claimed from a deal, but they haven't been released yet.
Edit: I know that Amtrak hasn't received all of their 80+ locos yet, but still it is pretty cool.

Wait, what? Only the first six (minus 301) will only have this Ph VI livery. Huh, Interesting to see what the new livery would be for the rest of the Charger fleet then.

Oh, right. The new "Phase VII" livery (I regret on my last post now).

Her home route can be Boston to Albany via Worcester 170 miles or Soldier Summit. These are the 300s in the Amtrak fleet. Speaking of Boston to Albany via Worcester and Springfield, MA that line is 170 mi (270 km) shorter than London Paddington Station to Penzance by 135.25 miles (220 km). The former NY Central Boston to Albany route 170 mi (270 kms) length is 223 miles (357 km) shorter than the ECML 393 mi which is made of all ECML DLCs merged into one whole route. Therefore ALC-42 can pull the lakeshore limited on Albany to Boston via Worcester & Springfield, MA.

Yes! This is the argument I made in a post about folks putting in a little effort with their proposals. It would be nice if more folks tried putting in a little more effort into proposals for stuff they'd like to see in TS.

In addition to my previous comment, though not directly. I would also love to see chargers in TS as well.
