In this suggestion, I am suggesting the Amtrak GE Genesis + Wagon Pack. This also includes the Viewliner, Superliner and Amfleet 2 wagons with the intention of bringing the Southwest Chief to Cajon Pass, while also bringing extra services such as the Crescent, Cardinal, Palmetto, Pennsylvanian (also drivable on Horseshoe Curve), Silver Meteor and Silver Star to the upcoming New York - Trenton route. The following vehicles included is Superliner, Amfleet 2, Viewliner 1 & 2 GE Genesis locomotive This dlc is pitched as a timetable add on because it adds extra timetabled services to a few routes so we don't know what route would be best to focus the dlc for. However like all TSW3 loco dlcs, you don't need a specific route installed and tutorials would be available in the training center. Achievements: GE Rookie, complete the GE Genesis tutorial. Master Genesis, drive the GE Genesis for 110 miles. Lines of steel, reach level 10 in the GE Genesis. What do you think of this suggestion?
This suggestion is great, The Amtrak P42DC can layer into several older routes, as well as newer routes down the line too. They can sell it as a "US Passenger Long Distance Pack" and have layers for several routes and a ton of scenarios, it would sell well. To add to your list of routes, an Amtrak P42DC could also layer onto Oakville Subdivision as the daily Amtrak Maple Leaf takes that route as well, and would *somewhat* improve Oakville.
Only issue I see with this is having all the coaches available, seems like a tall order for DTG to do. At most the P42DC would come with the Superliners in all variants, plus the Viewliner Baggage car.
Really excellent idea one can actually find it on Boston Providence running the Twilight Shoreliner trains 65-67 when the power is cut preventing ACS-64 use for wire maintenance.
