Is it possible to recreate the Amtrak Pacific Surfliner route but shortened due to the line being too long I'd say LA Union Station to Oceanside Station with stations as follow:

    LA Union Station
    Fullerton
    Anahiem
    Santa Ana
    Irvine
    San Juan Capistrano
    San Clamente Pier
    Oceanside

The Pacific Surfliner is a 350-mile (560 km) passenger train service serving the communities on the coast of Southern California between San Diego and San Luis Obispo.

Trainsets used for regular service are composed from a fleet of 52 bi-level Surfliner coaches (39 owned by Amtrak and 13 by Caltrans), plus nine leased Amtrak Superliner long-distance coaches modified for push-pull operation. These Superliner's are called flex cars, as they can be used for additional business class or coach seating, depending on the demand.

Also the engines used are Siemens Chargers new to Amtrak and slowly becoming the new road engines for them

This is a must for me. Plus, we'd get BNSF freight layered on (or included with) the route, Coaster Commuter Rail (also with SC44s) from Oceanside-San Diego (if that section is included or added as a DLC extension), and Metrolink on parts of the route (F125 and F59PHI from Metrolink Routes layered onto this one). Also, Amtrak's older P42DC Genesis would be a perfect loco to add as a DLC.

Just a Head's up on Am-Trak for you

Owned and Operated by Union Pacific Not Am-Trash I mean Am-Trak. If a line would be made in-game Metrolink own's and operates more trackage than Am-Trash in California, Am-Trash only owns a total of 623 miles in all the United States the rest of trackage is owned by Major Freight Railroads. Am-Trak uses a share treaty to run on Freight owned trackage mainly meaning Am-Trak pay's the Freight Railroads Money to service on their lines. Am-Trak's major owned lines are in Chicago and Boston as well as Philadelphia.
