Is there any way to add the Amtrak Southwest Chief route to the game it runs from LA union Station to Chicago however I know it's impossible to do that so I'm suggesting a short version of it (like how NEC is from penn to trenton) from Union Station to Barstow

The Southwest Chief (formerly the Southwest Limited and Super Chief) is a long-distance passenger train operated by Amtrak on a 2,265-mile (3,645 km) route between Chicago and Los Angeles ( but suggesting from LA Union Station to Barstow mainly along the cajon pass route and San Bernardino Subdivisions)

The Southwest Chief runs Superliner train sets. Trains typically consist of two P40 or P42 locomotives, a baggage car, three or four sleeper cars, a dining car, sightseer lounge and three coach cars.

Stop for the suggestions would be:
    LA Union Station
    Fullerton
    Riverside
    San Bernardino
    Victorville
    Barstow

Is this possible to do? Thank you

Yes, Yes, Yes!!!! While California would be awesome for the SW Chief and we do have Cajon Pass; Also, the Metrolink LA-San Bernardino Route is coming soon, I think a BNSF (or ATSF) Seligman Sub: Needles, CA-Winslow, AZ Route would be fantastic, too. The SW Chief stops in Needles, CA and Kingman, Seligman, Flagstaff, and Winslow AZ. Plus, passenger speeds are 90mph! Freights on this route hit up to 70mph. Of course, the Seligman Sub is 300 miles long, so it would have to be made in at least 3 sections to be possible in TSW4.
As for locos on either Cajon or Seligman (or another SW Chief/ATSF/BNSF route), I'd suggest a BNSF ET44ACH, ET44C4 (more likely), ATSF/BNSF C44-9W, C40-8W/C41-8W, B40-8/B40-8W, GP60/GP60M/GP60B, GP50, SD40-2, SD45-2, SD45, GP38-2, GP39-2, etc. for freight trains, a Siemens ALC-42 Charger (preferred over the Genesis), P42DC, or P32-8BWH. An F40PH could be cool, too. Amtrak's SW Chief is a must for me in game, along with the P42DC, P32-8BWH, and especially the ALC-42 Charger.

Let me guess looks like you want the Cajon Pass and San Bernardino Lines merged with each other via the Amtrak Southwest Chief. Formerly the ATSF Super Chief which we have the matching loco the F7 but not the Budd coaches and excellent Idea overall. Speaking of the ALC-42 loco it must have Viewliner IIs luggage bagage dorms Diners and sleeper cars added too in addition to the Superliners
