Kinda joking cause there's only two stops. But would be cool and have switching scenarios.

The route only has one roundtrip meaning you'd only get 2 mainline services. This route just doesn't seem practical

Doesn't seem practical for having two round trips but its European counterpart belonging to ÖBB is even better. For these reasons on the Dusseldorf Innsbruck Wien Hbf and Hamburg Altona end you actually separate Laaers 560s from the Passenger coaches but the return trip you recombine them with the Passenger coaches as a Regular Euro night train. EN490 Hans Albers Hamburg-Wien/Innsbruck EN420/421 Dusseldorf Innsbruck/Wien pre 2021. Where EN420/421 Goes to Amsterdam via the Duisburg Oberhausen-Arnhem Railway.

Expanding the route and basing it around the Lorton, VA Station would be the most practical way to incorporate the Auto Train to TSW2. The route could feature Washington DC and add in Amtraks other trains along the route. This would be CSXs RF&P Subdivision which could run as far as Richmond, VA. But you are looking at about 100+ miles of tracks. The VRE also runs on this line, but who knows if DTG can secure licensing from them.
