So... really new to TSC so forgive me if this already exists. However, I was wondering if anyone has ever thought about creating a tablet (android/ios) controller using bluetooth? Each unit/train could have its own layout with sliders, buttons etc or you could configure your own. I'm guessing, for those with a bit more knowledge this wouldn't be too hard using a standard bluetooth keyboard protocol.
I already done a compact cockpit to control trains using a USB HID device. I think, Your idea can be interesting together with a copy of loco's control board on tablet's screen, but physical levers and buttons are more interactive than virtual ones. IMHO. CH Throttle Quadrant or similar USB HID can be easily used with TSC.
