That feature is not a core thing yet. Its only made for the 385. They're planning to make it a core feature so they can add it on other stock too! [confirmed on a Scotrail Express stream] I really love this feature too, but it still needs to have some tweaks before its getting a core system imo! Great suggestion anyway!
It's complicated and tedious to make announcements so don't expect it to come out soon or at all. If it's not on the roadmap, it's not being worked on. Nice feature to have. Might see it on future routes
It's a Rivet thing - Rivet have always been pretty innovative with new features and scripting going back to TS classic days - not all will transfer to the core game
