Found another issue with the BR187 which is new to me and not sure if anyone else is aware. So the 187 will sub in as the banking loco on MSB on occasion. However when turning the banking comm on it does not active the 187 cab & engage the rear loco reverser and this needs to be done manually. Its not a hardship to either do this via the external cams or walk down but if you dont know to do this then you will crawl up the grade dragging not only your train but also the 187 along for the ride.
Also while you can select the 187 to drive on the banking services, I can't find the banking Comms button and don't think it actually exists. Really it needs to be either a case of the 187 getting a banking Comms or removing this service from the options. Which would be a shame as I'm actually beginning to enjoy driving this loco despite the known issues with it
