Another pointless rant inbound because I've had one too many crashes today and it's rustled my freathers the wrong way. I just need to get a few things off my chest to somewhere. TSW2 addons still don't have Livery Designer, after 3 more editions have been dragged out our bank accounts TSW5 core routes are kaput. Still, on an XBOX Series X, can't get through Hanau without a crash, making the route pointless because who would pay such a hugh price for ⅔ of a route. More bugs than features is a good statistic too. And they take years to fix them all. Atleast we know whos helping Rockstar with making GTA VI. Also in the time since Free Roam released and the bug where uncoupling a train meant free roam stopped working was born, we've had: - Another (needless) new TSW, - 34 DLCs, - 2 Price Hikes, and no doubt millions into the DTG account. The bug is still unfixed in May 2025 as it has ruined my experience even in the last week causing me to have an unusable save game and wasting another afternoon. The 3rd parties are no better. Mabye JT are an exception but almost all bugs across all DLCs are fixed slower than drawing blood from a stone. Last I checked MML HSTs were still unusable with Livery Designer because of visual glitches. On that topic Livery Designer still has no moveable camera for alot of stock, I actually get shocked when the camera moves nowadays. And there's no point saying "just find another game" because ive spent well over £1,000 on this company and in return I've got nothing but several hundred GB of lines of code that work for about half an hour before something causes a bug, a low texture glitch or a full game crash. Mabye DTG should start looking for lawyers because im sure someone will try to sue them soon for false advertising or misleading the customer or something I don't know im not a legal expert myself but I'm sure the awful quality to cost weight is a bit fishy. Right, have a good one everyone, I'm sure this wont change a thing but ah well. Edit: I would also like to add a note to mods, if I've posted in the wrong place I didnt mean to I just made a guess at the forum titles on what would best fit.
You're right, this is a pointless rant. Three things though: What relevance do Rockstar and GTA6 have? I suppose you're unaware that Skyhook have done a lot to improve their route. Good luck with that.
Rant? Yes. Pointless? Yes. Justified? Yes. Crashing really shouldn't happen on a vanilla game - especially not frequently enough to do this to you. I hope you feel a little better now. I was unaware of this: which ones?
It's futile at this point, as with the countless feedback threads and other posts people have fallen on deaf ears. They don't bother with the forums, and just hang the individual independent developers out to dry.
You’re right but I understood this way that he was talking about these old DLCs. If I’m not mistaken, they promised us to make them LD compatible when TSW2 was released.
Ah yes I remember that now - they did say that they would bring TSW2020 routes to TSW2 standard. How time flies!
