Just picked up the UK starter bundle for $10! Seems like a great deal in my book as I already own the other two
Been watching that German starter bundle and almost brought it at £26 the other week. Its the only bundle with a route I don't own. But for just over £8 it's a steal and I'll be cashing in more microsoft reward points for that.
Oh lol, each of those bundles has... one thing in it I don't own. But if they're £8 each that's essentially a 30% discount on each of the loco DLCs I am missing...
I got Ruhr Sieg Nord from the Sale $9.99 with Tax it's $10.65 and comes with DB BR155 363. If you have Riesa-Dresden selected Ruhr-Sieg Nord services use that version of DB BR143. The DB BR155 from Ruhr Sieg Nord can run Riesa-Dresden freight. An example of a DB BR155 RSN DLC locomotive freight on Riesa-Dresden is 14:47 Container Sggmrss loaded Roderau-Dresden via Weissig-Bohla line instead of Coswig.

When are we going to get another XBox sale? The last big sale of select items was 16 months ago. Two routes on sale for steam 45% off. Arosaline and Tharandter Rampe and RhB anniversary collection at 25% off Why not for Xbox. Come on DTG, you initially made this game for Xbox, so how about giving something to your loyal Xbox supporters please?
MS decides if and when the sales happen, DTG only says yes or no as far as we know. It's out of their control
Who ever says so, it’s a long time since we had a decent Xbox Sale. Only can remember one big one in the last three years, while Steam have had over twenty and some great price reductions too.
A sale is way overdue on xbox! C'mon DTG get that phone picked up to Microsoft and tell them to stick some TSW DLC in the next sale!

Promotions you say? Don't hold your breath! With the launch of TSW3 you'd have thought that DTG would be chomping at the bit to flog some backwards compatible DLC. But evidently not.

Really disappointing yet again, there's hundreds of games and DLC in the sale but only the base TSW3 is reduced!
It is very disappointing, next week we will see a load of TSW reductions in the Steam Black Friday sale, but only the base game on the Microsoft xbox sale. I will keep my money in my wallet. I play the game in both Steam and Xbox but for those on console, it must be very disappointing not to see add ons in any sale.
I've got £30 of MS rewards points I was saving in the hope of there been some DLC in the sale. I'm not buying any of the remaining DLC I need at RRP so I'll either save my points for another time or spend them on something else in the sale instead.
Both the BCC DLC and starter packs have a £3 Game Pass discount. With £20 of reward points, I picked up the starter pack (as I hadn’t bought the base game yet) for £6.99 in actual money.
I have a 130k reward points and will only use them in a sale. I used all my points in the last sale in July 2021 and will continue to save them for something I want, whether it be TSW or something else.
Train Sim World 3 deluxe edition on an Xbox Sale. DTG how about a sale on TSW and TSW2 for locomotives and routes. xbox users get far fewer sales than PC users?
Good point and it's 25% off $15 US or £12 UK due to $1 = 83p using the 23 November 2022 exchange rate inverse is £1 = $1.2 therefore £50 comes out to $60
Pathetic "sale" for Xbox players, I understand they want to entice new players who don't own the game yet but what about current players, we get nothing at all. I'm not expecting BCC on sale but maybe all pre-TSW 3 routes and loco dlc's? Black Friday/Cyber Monday is a big sale when it comes to the gaming community, it's not like this sale has crept up on DTG/Xbox, with enough foresight, something better than what we've got could have been put together, I'm sure. This attempt at a sale isn't even half baked, it's undercooked rubbish. Very very poor DTG, but at least I can spend a bit more spare money on my son for Christmas.
Agreed - very disappointing. Not one route of loco. Just the Deluxe edition. On the good side, my other hobby is Lego and a new store opened here in Zürich, so I gave them all my money instead. Every cloud....
Yeah it would have been nice to see some TSW2 routes on offer since TSW3 sure isn't worth it yet even if it was on sale for a penny.
There was what I might refer to as a minor sale over the summer. There were some "started packs" with steep discounts, I picked up TVL with all its DLC for about $12 I think. I also got the 313 for cheap. I also remember SFJ, which I already had, plus a German starter pack and some German locos as well. It certainly wasn't comprehensive, but for Xbox that's as good as it's been since at least last 2021.
Yes, there were a few small sales this summer. Bought Tharandter Rampe then, really enjoy(ed) it. Only deluxe edition of TSW3 is on sale now but I don't want to buy TSW3 at this moment because of it's problems. Was hoping for some TSW2 DLC discounts but then I will wait and hoping for some Christmas sale or something. I also think that it has maybe something to do with the game pass. MS might want to sell game pass licences and therefore not giving many sale slots to DTG. But this is still an assumption.
The only sales I saw on the Canadian Xbox store this summer was as Tharandter Rampe and the Harlem Line along with sometimes discounts on the base game. Never saw TVL on my end. That would have been something nice to pick up.
I bought the German, US and UK starter packs when they went on sale at the start of the summer. It was buying the base game 3 times but the discount on the other content was more than worth it. Would have loved to pick up some more routes/locos but we got left out again. The Canadian price on the content can get steep, so sales really help out. Keeping hope for a boxing day sale, please.
July 13th 2021 was the last big sale. A selection of 11 routes and five locomotives. This year there was a couple of routes on sale. There has never been a total sale on xbox like you have on steam. It’s about time DTG released a sale for xbox users.
Something interesting I noticed today, all DLC is showing the usual Game Pass 10% discount. However on LGV MEDITERRANEE it says 10% off with Game Pass, ends in 3 days. Could we perhaps be seeing an offer on this route on Tuesday? Unfortunately do not see that note on other routes yet, however I noticed some New Journeys Bundles have been set up, being sold alongside routes such as Bakerloo Line etc
Been waiting for over a year or more to see oakville subdivision and cane creek to drop, seen oakville as cheap as under 10$ at one point during tsw2 on other platforms not once on Xbox. With increasing prices, no discounts or price reductions on old content but gamepass 10% i don't see how they think players are gonna continue to support them on Xbox, and even seen a few things on bugs that's just poor optimization on next gen consoles. When can dovetail wake up and just listen to the community fully, we support the company listen to what we have to say and try to follow.
I have Oakville on my wish list too but I’ve been playing TSW on XBOX for the best part of 4 years now and I don’t think Oakville has been on sale on XBOX during that time so I’m still waiting….
I have all the routes on PC, but wait patiently for Oakville too, as well as Horseshoe Curve and West Country local to appear on xBox. I play both versions but will only buy duplicated routes in sales.
I feel similar with the game at the moment. Between the price rise, lack of sales on Xbox and constant pop up of trains/locos on my SX it's just put me off playing the game entirely. For the first time in a long time my banked Xbox rewards points have been spent on other games and their DLC (which were in the black Friday sale).
I'm right with you there. TSW3 is simply installed on my SX to see if there are any changes whenever a patch shows up. So far not much has changed apart from what I feel I saw a few updates ago as FPS smoothness and improvements in the Training Centre. Otherwise I enjoy the screenshots of the new routes they pump out, but I can't even stand watching YouTube videos of them as I see the technical issues showing up there as well on all platforms. I'll still get my occasional train simulator fix in TSW2 though, but in the current state of affairs, I can no longer support DTG by buying any new DLC for either TSW2 or 3.
Just as I guessed, LGV Mediterenee has dropped in price. Personally this was one I was waiting for, so am happy to get this route and additional layers for SEHS Extended I see the German and UK Rush hour routes have been discounted as well, for those who may not have had them already.
